FINIKIA

Finikia is one of the most beautiful and traditional neighborhoods of Santorini

as it is one of the first medieval settlements of the island. It is located on the northwest side of the island, overlooking the endless blue of the Aegean Sea.
It is a picturesque settlement with only limited tourist development. The village is built with white and colorful houses carved into the ground, creating a magical atmosphere with structures that look like caves between vineyards. There is even a local winery “Sigalas” where you can enjoy the wide variety of wines “Vinsanto”, ” Assyrtiko ” and ” Mavrotragano ” produced on the island.
Finikia offers a peaceful atmosphere to its visitors. Visitors who like to explore the surroundings can walk the cobbled streets of “Potamos” that lead to the beach of Baxedes or the path that leads to Fira. In the village there is a mini-market “Emba”, as well as three of the best restaurants on the entire island; “Lefkes”, “Krinaki” and “Meze Meze”.
